I wanted to take a minute to write a quick thank you note regarding the completion of the detail work in our main home and construction of a beautiful cabana. Although our original contractor was unable to complete the work, you stepped up and did an awesome job of picking up the pieces.
I found the entire process to be much easier than expected given your open communication style and your flexibility with the changes necessary for this project. I was especially impressed with the thoroughness of the pre-planning process, which took place after we executed the letter of intent but before we actually started work. Additionally, although there were numerous changes required to complete the work, you made sure I was apprised of each change and the impact it would have on both our timeline AND our budget.
Thank you David, for a job well done. I will use your company again in the future, should another project arise.

It is my pleasure to highly recommend David Cohen and Aaron Industries. David was the General Contractor for the remodel of my property in La Jolla Shores. I was particularly impressed by his attention to detail and follow through, his process orientation and tools he uses to monitor progress and keep the project on time and budget, and the very high quality and professionalism of his subcontractors. He is experienced, responsive, reliable, and practical, he did not make design decisions on my behalf (although I did end up implementing several of his ideas), and he is a clear and enthusiastic communicator. The striking intensity that is his initial hallmark becomes commitment to and advocacy for his client.
My project was especially challenging because both my neighbors became hostile during the project. Although neither of them had valid complaints, resolving their issues caused additional delays and extra work for David and his infrastructure. David remained flexible and philosophical throughout this interlude, and was able to immediately reinitiate the project once the situation was resolved.
I am very pleased with both the process and the end result of my remodel and feel I now have personal space that really works for me. This is my fourth remodel in 20 years, so I have comparators on which to base a recommendation. I recommend David and his organization without reservation and I would work with Aaron Industries again if the opportunity arose.

On May 30, 2007 we closed escrow on a house in South Carlsbad. The house was in a beautiful neighborhood. Some of the key selling points were the short walk to my kids schools and proximity to La Costa Canyon as I have been coaching boy's basketball at the high school.
The house had a great location and view. The only down side was that it was built in 1985 so required a great deal of work on everything from replacing the electric and plumbing to modernizing ceilings, bathrooms and the kitchen.
My referral to Aaron Industries came from a client that David Cohen had done work for more than two years ago. At David's suggestion we got architectural drawings completed and City of Carlsbad permits. The extent of the work was difficult and the timeframe highly compressed. The various sub contractors that supported the job were at all times considerate, professional and extremely talented craftsman. The overall job was completed on time and within the original budget presented by Aaron Industries.
We were able to move into our new home the last week of August 2007 and my entire family could not be any happier with the house. We are deeply grateful to the work and guidance provided by David Cohen and Aaron Industries.

RE: Remodel in Del Mar, CA
When my husband and I looked for a contractor to manage the remodel of our home, we were looking for someone very special. I have had 13 years of experience designing and building highly complex biopharmaceutical laboratories and office space. I understood what made a contractor successful in that environment: understanding what the customer wants and delivering it; providing a realistic price for the end result; and delivering on time and on budget. After managing over $40M worth of construction projects, I knew that a general contractor needed to have reliable subs, had to build a realistic budget before construction began, needed to communicate excessively with the client, and had to do what s/he said s/he would do.
We interviewed about 5 different contractors, and none of them could work to that level of detail and specificity. I knew from experience that without that, the project ran a high likelihood of being over-budget, delayed, and not delivering what we wanted. When we met David, we knew we had found the right person. David was fully in sync with all the experiences I had had, brought together a group of professionals who are truly outstanding, and communicated very effectively throughout the project. One of the things that I insisted on was regularly scheduled weekly meetings in addition to the phone calls and site visits which would be required. These meetings needed to have everyone around the table who would be working on solving the problems that inevitably come up for the next week. David and his team fulfilled all our expectations.
We finished the project on time, on budget, and with a product that is truly beautiful. In addition, David and everyone on his team were delightful to work with. True professionals who respected the fact that this was our home.

David was the contractor for Micro Computer Specialists, Inc. after our
unfortunate fire disaster on October 20, 2001. Through his efforts from
October 20th through December 2nd, our building was restored back to its
better than original condition. In my position as Vice President of
Operations, my time was extremely limited to attend to this disaster. David
took control with little involvement from me and did an extremely fine job.
I was quite impressed by David's ability to coordinate all the
subcontractors and complete all work on time, if not before it was due. He
was always thorough, comprehensive, and detailed.

I just wanted to put in writing how much I love my dream home that you built for me and I don't know what I would have done if you had not been referred to me by chance! Being a single woman trying to build a home on my own with no support system, you made it such a pleasant experience and I have nothing except fond memories of my construction project. You never said "no" to me and, while educating me along the way, managed to give me everything on my wish list. I realize now what a difficult project it was with the cliff-side erosion and my tight budget, but you did it on time and within budget! In hindsight, I have also come to appreciate the quality of your subcontractors, so important to the quality and timeliness of a project... see, I did learn something! I look forward to showing my potential clients my home so they can see for themselves the quality of your work. I would not recommend moving a rock without you... if anybody does, they deserve everything they don't get.

David Cohen of Aaron Industries was one of a number of contractors recommended to me by Chubb Insurance. I am extremely pleased that I chose him and his firm to repair the damages to my home.
We had experienced a flood from an exterior source into our guestroom. David took charge of the situation, analyzing the problem, dealing through me with Chubb, taking on very capable sub-contractors and making sure that the repairs were completed as quickly as possible.
